Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a former psychiatrist, who was imprisoned at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. The serial killer developed a taste for human flesh and became known as “Hannibal the Cannibal.“ After being enlisted by Clarice Starling to catch Buffalo Bill, another serial killer, Lecter managed to kill his guards and escape. Calling Clarice, he let her know that he had no intention of coming after her and that he had to depart as he is “having an old friend for dinner”.
